Ben is a member of the class of 2016 who is pursuing a major in politics. He has studied Spanish at Oberlin and is currently studying abroad in the PRESHCO program.
I’m a politics major, and I take Hispanic studies classes in Oberlin. I also use Spanish during my time with SITES, which I have done for the past three semesters. I find that at Oberlin, I am often challenging myself to extend my knowledge of the Spanish language through interaction with other students, staff and classes that require this skill. These are the three primary resources that I use in Oberlin.
Currently, I am studying abroad through the PRESHCO program in Córdoba, Spain. My use of Spanish has been challenged like never before, and i found that the Spanish language resources at Oberlin prepared me very well for this semester.
