Topic: Would like to be able to read books on tape in Spanish...the reading process facilitated by the audio that accompanies the text.
First meeting: Initially Robin wanted Middle school texts... I suggested short stories since MS texts tend to talk about Middle School issues...her language comprehension is much greater than that!
Is speaking 3 X weekly with Tomasa (age 51, housewife, from Cartagena, España) but does not want to include Tomasa in this nor does she want to record these conversations.
Barbara to try and find another person with whom she could read/speak.
Robin to try and identify some texts that would work.
Robin might be interested in the reading exchange that Luke is doing.
4/30 (Have changed meeting time to 10:15 on Mondays)
Robin does not wish to blog about her experiences working with Tomasa, she has been journaling her exchanges with Tomasa during the semester, however. I told Robin that this would suffice and as long as she shared that information with me, that would help me comprehend her work to date.
Project topic now changed to focus on her exchanges with Tomasa.
