Una Canción Desesperada

Me gusta mucho este poema, porque es muy sencillo. Pero cuando yo busque para el poema en ingles, yo encontre muchas traducciónes malas! Creo que esta linea es comica:

You swallowed everything, like distance.
Like the sea, like time. In you everything sank!


Creo que esto no es lo que Neruda quería decir...
