ELI Conference Post

Hello! This breaks a little away from my traditional posts, but I wanted to find a venue to provide access to my recording for the the ELI presentation this weekend. Please feel free to comment on this presentation here or send me comments at elevine@oberlin.edu. It is currently 10 minutes long, so I will work on shaving off a few minutes so as not to go over our time limit. Also, I will work on perfecting my presentation style etc. when I am not actually talking to real people and not recording into my IPod.

Please click HERE
to hear my recording.

Also, please click below to see the "freeze frames" I have made that I would like to have access to during the presentation if we don't have a working internet connection (I will also make a CD of these and bring them to the conference). If we do have a working internet connection, I would like to access this url: http://languages.oberlin.edu/hisp305/spring06/evie/2006/05/5_una_conversacion_con_una_exp.html#comments

Frames for Presentation

Please also click below to see a few pictures I thought might be nice to have in the background during our presentation. I was told that we might want some type of photos in the background. Do these suffice? If I need to send them to someone in a different format, please let me know.

Possible Pictures for Background

Also, please feel free to wander around my blog!

I look forward to hearing from you!

Evie:

This is marvelous. Absolutely wonderful. It is honest, it is sincere, it talks about the class--warts and all-- Wow. Your organization is terrific, the conclusion is wonderful, and I am so honored to have been a part of this experience with you. ¡Te felicito!

Evie,

Fantastic job on the recording!

If you'd like, I can show you how to turn your pictures and the screenshots of your blog into PowerPoint slides ... it'll be easier for you to present them on the day of the talk. Just drop by my office tomorrow or Friday; I'll be there for sure between 1pm-5pm both days.

Again, great job!

Evie,

You've done an excellent job here--I very much enjoyed hearing your story and agree with Barbara's feedback. Barbara sure knew what she was doing when she invited you to present with us!

You can have Erin help you with slides; if you send the images to me as jpg files, I'll put them into our larger Powerpoint.

Looking forward to meeting you on Sunday!
