How to record your voice with an iTalk and an iPod

~As soon as you plug the iTalk microphone into the top of the iPod, the iPod becomes a recording device

~ As soon as you plug in the iTalk you will see on the screen Voice Memo and 00:00:00, and also Record / Cancel.

~ In order to record, press the circle in the middle of the iPod dial, wait a few seconds, and then record

~ Now on the screen you will see: PAUSE and STOP AND SAVE. When you finish press STOP AND SAVE . If you don't press STOP AND SAVE, you will lose the recording.

~ After saving your recording you will see a new screen that says Record Now if you want to make a second recording. There will also be a list of the recordings already made.

~To listen to your recording, plug in your headphones (into the iTalk) , and click on the file

~To download your files to a machine, the machine must have iTunes installed on it.

~Using the cables that came with your iPod, plug the iPod into the computer. iTunes will detect new voice memos and ask you if you wish to download them. Say yes, and they will be downloaded from the iPod to iTunes.
