How to Record Skype Conversations (on a Mac)

ALWAYS do a test recording before so that you don’t miss an amazing conversation!

1. Open Audio Hijack Pro first!

2. In the Top menu click on the Hijack button. This will start Skype for you.

3. Sign into Skype, and after you have started the call, hit the “Record” button.

4. Note: You can use the “Pause” button but to STOP use the Record button again.

5. The file will be automatically saved to the desktop; it is already an MP3.

6. At this point, you can either use the file as-is, or edit the file using Audacity (instructions coming soon!).

7. When you're done, change the name so that is not a string of numbers. Do not use ANY special characters or spaces. This will make it easier to upload.
