Barbara’s been a busy busy writing bee; this time she has co-authored (with Barbara Ganley of Middlebury College) the lead article in the 15th edition of The Knowledge Tree: Making Ground, an e-learning journal out of Australia.

Just because the CILC will be closed (to students…not faculty) next week doesn’t mean Barbara and I won’t be hard at work. This year’s Fall Break project? Teaching our birds to dance, like this:
During Fall Break the CILC will be closed to the public, but we’ll be hosting a series of Technology Drop-in sessions for faculty members. Next Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, from 1pm - 4pm, faculty members can drop by and ask questions, get technical assistance, or run hands-on experiments with anything supported by CILC - all with no need for an appointment!

Just an update… our wee ones are growing. Alas, even baby birds can have “bad hair days.” They are beginning to explore the world outside of their nest. Should you want to learn more about zebra finches please check out this site.
The Language Lab will close at 5pm on Friday, 19 October for Fall Break. We will reopen at 8:45am on Monday, 29 October, and will resume our normal schedule at that time.
